Dear Civil Engineers of Indian Railways and MES,
Now you are suppose to use DSR - 2023 instead of your own SSRs for your estimates. Railway Engineers are to use CPWD DAR for rate analysis for tender justification. Higher authorities of MES will announce the percentage limit above or below the DSR 2023 for tender acceptance.
You may think you can prepare estimates and rate analysis using Excel files. But, excel files won't do any work and you need to copy, paste, put sl nos and set formulas etc., If you use the Application, you just need to enter item code and quantity and rest of the things will be prepared by the App (Estimates and rate analysis gives output in MS Excel). Why membership is required when some excel files are available for free over internet ?
The files uploaded on internet are not upto date. Many correction slips are issued by CPWD from time to time and these corrections are not made in the available files. Whereas we update all our documents and the application as per the latest circulars or orders and keep you informed. CPWD changed the analysis procedure and many of the Engineers who are suppose to use CPWD procedures are not aware of the changes issued by CPWD. But we keep you informed. Membership fee is to be paid only once in life time.

* * e-measurement book is a customized macro enabled Excel work book for recording measurements. It enables to enter Numbers column as '2x3' , '1x2x3x4' , 2+3/4 etc., For steel measurements just select dia and enter numbers (as m x n) and length. Quantity will be calculated in respective dia. column.

Basic rates in Excel can be uploaded to Jalli's App and get rate analysis.
Non-schedule items can be added or can be uploaded to the App very easily for Estimate as well as Rate Analysis.
Major projects can be split into separate components and the separate estimates can be merged into single estimate (BoQ).
No need to remember any commands, codes and it is the most user friendly application.
No specific training is required. Users can learn using the App through Youtube videos.
Data can be carried in a pendrive from one system to another.
Application is updated periodically whenever there is a change in the procedure or correction slips are issued.
